In another internal garage within the same block, water was <strong>tracking in at ~80 cm<\/strong> above the floor. Meanwhile, the client was <strong>pumping ~500 litres<\/strong> from a <strong>well<\/strong> <strong>twice daily<\/strong> just to keep up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rooftop and meter checks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We accessed the roof with another garage owner to understand the plumbing layout. While a colleague checked <strong>water meters<\/strong>, we found <strong>four apartments<\/strong> with meters <strong>spinning<\/strong> even with tank inlets closed\u2014a sign of potential internal <strong>supply leaks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wider context<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The client mentioned another block up the street <strong>pumping to the road at night<\/strong> because their garages flood during the day. We also noted gardens in the vicinity looking <strong>over-watered<\/strong>, suggesting chronic subsurface moisture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Escalation and collaboration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given the <strong>multi-property, multi-source<\/strong> nature of the issue, we contacted <strong>WSC\u2019s leak detection team<\/strong> to collaborate. This kind of problem often combines <strong>private supply leaks<\/strong>, <strong>drainage pathways<\/strong>, and <strong>groundwater behaviour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where things stand<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an <strong>active investigation<\/strong> with the WSC.
