We inspected the bathroom envelope, fixtures and any back-to-back cupboards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Findings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Freestanding bath<\/strong>: a <strong>crack<\/strong> at the rear where splashes migrate.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shower<\/strong>: grout <strong>degraded<\/strong> and letting water travel through; cupboard behind showed <strong>secondary mould<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thermal patterns matched <strong>repeated wetting and drying<\/strong>, which drives mould growth in predictable bands.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What we recommended<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Replace\/repair the <strong>freestanding bath<\/strong> and <strong>re-grout<\/strong> the shower, including corners and upstands.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dry, clean, and treat affected surfaces with <strong>mould-inhibiting<\/strong> systems.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve bathroom extraction; keep RH low during and after showers.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We pinpoint sources so repairs are targeted\u2014not guesswork.
