The new owner upstairs inherited the problem and had made partial repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What we found<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Thermal<\/strong>: wet signatures at the <strong>bathtub wall<\/strong>, entrance area, and by the <strong>WC<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Visual<\/strong>: fresh sealant around the bath but evidence that <strong>water runs off the side glass<\/strong>, pooling at an <strong>under-grouted corner<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acoustic<\/strong>: activity consistent with seepage around the bath\/wet floor.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The test we agreed<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because the plumbing is <strong>very old<\/strong>, the neighbour declined a pressure test. Instead we set up a <strong>colour flood test<\/strong>: <strong>green<\/strong> for the bathtub, <strong>red<\/strong> for the basin, <strong>yellow<\/strong> for the WC, to isolate the active path.
